Volunteer – Blast Back to School Backpack Packing

Blast Back to School is looking for volunteers to help with backpack packing. There are 4 shift options: setting up (10 am – 12 pm), backpack packing (1 pm – 4 pm), clean up (2 pm – 4 pm), and unloading at Nevada Elementary (4:30 pm – 5:30 pm).

We are looking for volunteers to help us collect supplies and pack backpacks!  The supply collection will be throughout the summer.  Our date for packing backpacks is currently, Monday August 10, 2026 from 9am-4pm at the Ames Middle School.  If the location changes, we will email everyone.

We will need volunteers for supply pick-up at our donation sites, set-up for a packing day, and then lots of volunteers on our backpack packing day!
