AREA YP Lunch & Learn: Mentorship Panel

Join us for our first Lunch & Learn of the year as we dive into the power of mentorship within AREA YP! This session will feature a panel of mentors and mentees from the 2025 Cohort who will share their experiences, offer insights into the program, and highlight the value mentorship has brought to their personal and professional growth.

Panelists will include:

• Ashley Thompson – President & CEO of United Way of Story County (Mentor)
• Danika Gordon – Senior Coordinator, Human Resources & Marketing at AgCertain (Mentee)
• Jill Klindt – Former Chief Financial Officer of Workiva (Mentor)
• Katelyn Proctor – Learning & Development Coordinator at Mary Greeley Medical Center (Mentee)
• Kyven Gadson – Director of Development at Iowa State University Foundation (Mentee)

This is a great opportunity to:

• Hear directly from your peers about their mentorship journeys

• Get answers to any questions you may have about the program

• Learn how to make the most of your own mentor/mentee relationship

• Kick off the new year feeling connected, supported, and inspired
