RAGBRAI Volunteering

2023 will be the fifth time Ames will host RAGBRAI as an overnight town, and no better timing than the 50th Anniversary! Our theme this year is “Cycling Fun and GAMES”.

FUEL currently has two volunteering opportunities reserved, which allows FUEL members to work with one another and enjoy the event

• Beer Tent #4 (8:30-11:30pm) – Collect beer tickets and serve drinks. This tent will be closest to the main stage, Hairball will begin at 8:30pm!
• Crowd Control Monitor (6:00-10:00pm) – Enjoy the concert while keeping an eye on the crowd. Volunteers will not need to monitor individuals, but will be responsible for evacuating people if an emergency situation is necessary.
