DESCRIPTION:The Resource Recovery Plant is partnering with Iowa Home Consulting to host the annual Stash the Trash community spring clean up.\n​\n​Stash the Trash is a volunteer initiative to improve the appearance of the community and appropriately dispose of waste.\nStash the Trash is designed to make it easy for anyone to participate. Volunteers can sign up as individuals or as groups. Cleanup efforts will take place throughout Ames in neighborhoods and parks across the city. Collected trash can be brought to designated drop-off locations, or volunteers may request pickup service if transportation is not available.
