DESCRIPTION:\nAREA YP is starting a book club for young professionals who are interested in personal and career growth! We’ll focus on exploring professional development and self-help books that inspire and empower you to make a difference in your lives, careers, and businesses. We’ll take a slow pace, allowing you to balance reading with busy schedules. Our aim is to create a supportive environment for thoughtful discussion, reflection, and shared learning as we discover new strategies and perspectives together.\nThe first book we’re going to tackle together is “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. This is a self-help book that focuses on creating positive change through small, daily behaviors. We will read this book over four months, dividing it into sections and meeting on a monthly basis to connect and reflect. Our first gathering will be on Friday, April 10 from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at Café Diem! During this gathering we’ll discuss “The Fundamentals” and “The 1st Law” from the book, pages 1 through 97. We encourage you to pick up a copy today and start reading!\nWe would love to know if you plan to join us in April so we can ensure we have a large enough space reserved at the coffee shop.
