DESCRIPTION:Workplace injuries cost US companies an average of $250 billion per year with nearly 23,000 injuries being reported every day. A major shift is now taking place in workplace injuries. Whereas once more injuries were due to accidents such as falls or lifting something wrong, now more injuries are coming from repetitive use injuries. Dr. Ben Heun will discuss some of the most common injuries and how to prevent them through proper ergonomics and exercises.\nDr. Ben owns Back In Action Chiropractic near downtown Ames. He has been practicing in that location for 7 years and has a passion for helping his patients find pain relief.
